Tribal Gorilla
Tribal Gorilla is a Mumbai film studio built on one bet: the stories that travel furthest are the most specific ones. We find worlds inside India that cinema has never touched and build them into universes for a global audience.
Our method is access. We tell stories from places we have lived, with people we know and myths we grew up inside. Cinema anchors every universe. Series, games, live events, parks and merchandise grow out of it.
And we are AI native. We shoot live action on a virtual production volume at IICT, India's national creative technology institute, where we are incubated. Our pipeline runs Unreal Engine, in camera VFX and AI assisted post, and we are members of NVIDIA Inception. The technology is proven on paid work: we have shot on the volume for HDFC Bank and delivered AI films for Mahindra Finance, Zepto, Amul and Parle G.

Manvendra Singh
Manvendra is a film director and the founder of Tribal Gorilla, a Mumbai studio building local stories from India for global audiences.
He has spent eight years directing commercial work for Mahindra Finance, Zepto, HDFC Bank, Amul, Parle G and Coca Cola, including live action shot on a virtual production volume. That practice funds the studio's real work: original story universes.
His flagship is Dawnlit Mountains, an action fantasy series set in 1980s Arunachal Pradesh on India's remotest frontier. Manvendra grew up there. His father served as a government officer across the state for decades. That gives the project the one thing nobody can acquire later: lived access to the places, people and myths it puts on screen.
Tribal Gorilla is incubated at IICT, India's national creative technology institute under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, and is a member of NVIDIA Inception.
